William Powell AM, Welsh Liberal Democrat Assembly Member for Mid and West Wales, has accepted a petition on the steps of the Senedd from Aberystwyth University Students' Union to address private sector student housing standards.

"For many years it has been clear that reopening St. Clears railway station would offer significant benefits both to the town and the wider surrounding area by improving transport links and easing congestion on the A40 to and from Carmarthen at peak times.
