William Powell AM Supports Bwcabus Extension
William Powell today expressed his enthusiastic support for the latest extension to the Bwcabus service, which now covers a number of rural communities in Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire from Llanybydder to Llangeitho and from Lampeter to Nebo. Commenting on today's Bwcabus Official Extension Launch at the Lampeter Campus of the University of Wales Trinity St David he said:
"Bwcabus is a fantastic idea. The Service now has over 1,200 registered users and allows passengers to get on and off the bus along its route at any safe and convenient point. People can book the service and then just turn up and catch the bus. It means the service is far more flexible than fixed timetable services. This is just the type of initiative that we need to help sustain viable rural communities. I look forward to it being extended further across the whole of the Mid & West Wales Region in the future."
