William Powell AM is Chair of the National Assembly's Petitions Committee. A Petition is a way of asking the Assembly to consider any issue, problem or proposal that it has the power to do something about.
William comments: "The petitions process gives ordinary citizens, not just politicians, the chance to get any issue considered for which the Senedd and the Welsh Government has responsibility. I'd encourage anyone who has an issue they think would be suitable for a petition to get in touch with the Petitions Staff Team at the Assembly."
